Ricotta Pasta with Beef I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! I enjoyed our first Christmas as a married couple. I made traditional Mexican tamales all on my own for the first time — a lot of work, but worth the results! This cannelloni is a quick recipe that comes together with some fresh spinach, chicken, and ricotta cheese, all topped with an easy creamy sauce.
The addition of all the cheese in this cannelloni makes the flavors pop even more. Besides, one serving of milk, cheese or yogurt provides 8 grams of protein and 9 essential nutrients.

A serving size is 1 cup of milk or yogurt, and 2-ounces of cheese. The cows will appreciate it. The prepared cannelloni are then transferred to a baking dish and arranged over some pasta sauce.
Use your favorite pasta sauce, homemade or store bought. The entire recipe should not take longer than 40 to 45 minutes, from start to finish. The dish is easy to make, kid friendly and makes for some great leftovers.

Prepare the macaroni and the cheeses; set aside. To prepare the glaze: Whisk together the powdered sugar, almond extract, lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon of water.
Add more water, if necessary, to reach the desired consistency. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water and lemon zest. Ricotta Cheese Pie I To make this pie 's creamy, delicately-flavored filling, combine eggs, ricotta, milk, vanilla, sugar and cornstarch, and then pour it into a prepared crust.
Bake the pie for an hour until it 's set. In a food processor, place the cooked peas, the onion, the ricotta, the olive oil, the salt, pepper, and the Parmesan (reserve approximately 3 tablespoons of Parmesan for garnish), puree until smooth. Whisk 1 cup each ricotta, cream cheese, and powdered sugar in a medium bowl.
Fold in ⅔ cup mini chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Serve with broken up . Ricotta cheese bears a resemblance to cottage cheese, but it has five times more calcium. Cottage cheese possesses a more robust form, while ricotta cheese is softer and more subtle.
